How to create a Wengo account ?
Subscription to Wengo can only be made online from your WengoPhone, after having downloaded and installed the software.
Once you have filled your email address, nickname and password in the form, you can register your WengoPhone to the Wengo service for free calls or access your online selfcare and buy communication credits if you wish.
What personal information is required upon subscription ?
To create a Wengo account :
• you just need to fill in a valid email address. By confirming this email address you will activate your Wengo account.
To purchase Wengo's :
• you will be asked to fill in your address
• you need a Visa or Mastercard international credit card, or a paypal account.
Is it mandatory to have a landline phone line to subscribe to Wengo ?
Wengo offers a "second phone line" service, which means that this line does not enable calls to emergency phone numbers.
You need to make sure you have another way to call emergency numbers if you use Wengo.
What are the technical requirements for using Wengo ?
To make calls or use other Wengo services, you need to have :
- a permanent and broadband Internet connexion.
- a PC running Windows 2000/XP or GNU/Linux (2.6.x) or Mac (x86 or PPC) under Mac OS X 10.3.9 or higher and equiped with a sound card (preferably full duplex).
I cannot create a Wengo account.

I want to create several Wengo accounts. Can I use the same email address and nickname for all my accounts ?
It is not possible to use the same email address and nickname in different Wengo accounts. The email address and nickname you first fill in the subscription form are the ids of a unique account.
However you can use your ids on several WengoPhones (one at home, an other one on holiday...). You only need to know that you can connect only one WengoPhone at the same time with your ids.
Please note that during some promotional offers, you are not allowed to create several accounts (refer to the offers terms and conditions).
