Where can I report my problems and get support ?
For the time being, you can report a bug or any problem you may encounter using our forums.
On our forums you can have a direct contact with your Wengo counselors who are available from Monday to Friday from 10.00 AM to midnight Paris Time and on saturdays from 9.00 AM to 6.00 PM.
And don't forget, other Wengo users can answer your questions 24/24 7/7 on the forums. There is always someone available to help you out.
What can I do if I have problems downloading WengoPhone ?
Try to save the software .exe file on your hard disk by selecting "save as" rather than "execute" from the Wengo web site. Double clic on WengoSetup.exe from where you saved it and let the installation run.
What can I do if I have problems installing WengoPhone ?
We recommend that you close any other application before running "WengoSetup.exe" and make sure you have administrative rights on your computer.
My WengoPhone does not connect properly
The "w" at the bottom of your WengoPhone window is red, then your WengoPhone actually did not connect to the Wengo service.
1. Do you use a firewall ?
If yes, check if your firewall is set up to let WengoPhone run. If you need assistance with your firewall, please contact us on our forums.
2. Do you use a router ?
If yes, you might need to set up port forwarding on your router. If you need assistance with port forwarding, please contact us on our forums.
I lost my contact list after installing WengoPhone on a different computer
You contact list is stored locally on your computer(in the C:\Documents & Settings\%your Windows user name%\wengo\contacts).
So we suggest that you copy the content of this folder on an usb stick or on a webmail account if you want your contact list to follow you everywhere you go. This way you will be able to copy your contact list on each computer you will use Wengo with.
What ports do I have to forward on my router to use WengoPhone ?
You may need to forward ports on your router to have your WengoPhone connect in SIP mode and get the best quality from it. In your router settings pages, forward the following ports to the IP address of the PC you are using WengoPhone on : 5060, 10600 and 10601.
My WengoPhone uses 100% CPU, what can I do ?
You can easily solve this problem by clearing your calls history.
Click on the Tools menu > Clear History > All.
